The Not-So-New Kid on the Block
I created this poster to visually frame Jaskaran Sandhu as an established, community-focused leader. The black and white photography lends a serious, trustworthy tone, and the "Not-So-New Kid on the Block" headline immediately subverts a common political trope to create a memorable brand identity. The choice to photograph the candidate from behind, looking out over a housing complex, intentionally shifts the focus from the individual to the community they serve.
